Who we are

Skulpt Online Coaching. Email shane@skulptonlinecoaching.co.uk. We decide how the details on this page are used, so we are responsible for them under UK data protection law.

What we collect

When you apply for coaching on the home page, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, Instagram handle, your next race, the watch you train with and what your training week looks like now.

When you apply through a coach’s own page, we collect your name, email address, phone number and Instagram handle, and your answers about your goal, why now, how committed you are, your training, any coach you have had before, what you would invest each month and which coach you would like.

When you message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number, your WhatsApp name and what you send us.

When you visit, we count the visit ourselves: the page, the site or link you came from, and a code made from your internet address and browser. The code is replaced every day, so we can count each visitor once a day without knowing who you are or following you from one day to the next. We never store your internet address, and nothing is saved on your device.

If you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner, Google Analytics also records how you use the site. More on that under Cookies.

Why we use it

To reply to your application or message and talk to you about coaching. If you become a client, we use it to set up your coaching. We rely on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We count visits to see how people find the site and which pages help, which is our legitimate interest in running it. Google Analytics only sets its cookies and records your visit in full with your consent. Until you choose, Google only gets a basic signal that a page was viewed, with no cookies and nothing that tells you apart from anyone else.

Who sees it

Only us and our coaches, and the companies that run things for us: the company that hosts this website, Google for our email, Google Analytics if you accept analytics, WhatsApp if you message us, and the agency that looks after this website. They only use your details to provide their service to us. We never sell your details, and we don’t use them for marketing unless you’ve asked us to.

Google and WhatsApp can handle details outside the UK. Where they do, it is under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

Applications and messages: for as long as we need them to deal with your application. If you become a client, for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Visit counts: the daily code is cleared the next day, and the counts are kept for 13 months. Google Analytics keeps its data for 14 months.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site only uses them for Google Analytics, and only if you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner. One small essential cookie remembers your choice. No advertising cookies are set.

• skulpt_consent: essential. Remembers whether you accepted analytics, so we don’t ask on every page. Kept for 180 days.
• _ga: Google Analytics, only if you accept. Tells one visitor from another. Kept for 2 years.
• _ga_74DKJR07B0: Google Analytics, only if you accept. Keeps track of your visit. Kept for 2 years.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, you can take it back at any time. Just email shane@skulptonlinecoaching.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
